Imagination is more important than knowledge ...
Born and raised in Chicago - the Home of the Blues. It's a verry beautiful city with a vibrant cultural and music scene. There's nothing finer than listening to blues until the wee hours of the morning in some dark club on Halsted. Between visits to the blues clubs I got a degree in math from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
The winters in Chicago can be brutal and the summers are unbearable (but the 3 weeks of spring are real nice). So I decided to move out to the West Coast - initially to San Francisco, then to Los Angeles.
With my technical degree from IIT I worked in software development for a variety of technology companies. Though I liked the challenge of programming, I also began to develop an interest in the business of technology so I went back to school and got an MBA from UCLA.
Since then I've continued to stay on top of developments in technology while I've concentrated on the business side of systems development. I've worked in management consulting and I've managed a large number of projects to a successfull completion.
Of course, all work and no play is not good for anybody. I try to take advantage of all the opportunities that living in the wonderful LA climate has to offer - I like riding my mountain bike, hiking, kayaking and sailing on the Pacific Ocean. This past summer I learned to swim - seemed like a good idea given all the time I spend on the water!
Energetic people who are going somewhere in life.
To always be learning and advancing and to share what I've learned with others.
Build things.
Become more focused; accomplish more.
