PROFESSIONAL BIO

Named “Sexiest Woman Alive” in 2005 by Esquire Magazine, Jessica Biel has become one of Hollywood’s most coveted actresses.  Having emerged as a breakout star through her TV series debut on #1-rated WB show 7th Heaven, Biel was most recently noted for her performance in the critically acclaimed film The Illusionist alongside Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti. Entertainment Weekly reported that “Jessica Biel pulls off her most impressive trick yet: transforming herself into a turn-of-the-century Austrian duchess – and a serious art house actress.” For her work in The Illusionist, Jessica has received many awards including Hollywood Life’s Annual “Breakthrough Award”, the Giffoni Film Festival Award, the “Shining Star Award” at the Maui Film Festival and the “Breakthorugh Performance Award” at the 18th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival.

Biel can soon be seen in the sci-fi thriller Next opposite Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore for Revolution Studios. Next will be released on April 27th, 2007. Biel will also be seen this summer in the comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry opposite Adam Sandler and Kevin James. I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry is slated for release on July 20th, 2007.

Biel was most recently seen in the return-from-war drama Home of the Brave with Samuel L. Jackson, Christina Ricci and 50 Cent. Biel’s other recent roles include those in London, co-starring Jason Statham, Chris Evans and Kelli Garner; Cameron Crowe’s Elizabethtown, with Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst and Susan Sarandon; and Stealth, starring alongside Josh Lucas and Jamie Foxx.

As a child, Biel initially pursued a career as a vocalist, performing in musical theatre.  Starting at age nine, she starred in such productions as Annie, The Sound of Music and Beauty and the Beast.  A natural beauty, she soon turned to modeling and commercial work by competing in The International Modeling and Talent Association’s Annual Conference in 1994. In her feature film debut at age fourteen, Biel garnered raves for her portrayal as the rebellious daughter in Victor Nunez’s acclaimed film Ulee’s Gold, starring Oscar nominee Peter Fonda.

Biel is also co-founder of Make the Difference Network (MTDN.com), a cause-oriented social network connecting nonprofit organizations with individual donors and local / national business sponsors.  She was honored with the “Young Philanthropist of the Year” Award at the 2006 Golden Karma Awards for her charitable work.

I believe that Jessica Biel needs to play the part of Carly on General Hospital. After watching her on Chuck and Larry, I see where she resembles the original Carly tremendously and would make an excellent substitution should the current Carly decide to go bye-bye. In actuality she really favors the girl who plays as Claudia, I can't remember her real name, but everyone knows who I'm talking about. She was Carly in a past life herself and Jessica and her could be twins. They look identical if they would just put Claudia's hair back to a lighter color and soften her look back up some. Come on, Jessica, we'd love to watch you every day on General Hospital. Call 'em up and tell them you want to be either Carly or Claudia. You'd make a much better actress, that's for sure and since the girl playing the part of Carly right now has started getting fat, maybe it would be the perfect time for a change and Jessica would be PERFECT. Sorry, Carly, but you have put on quite a few pounds lately and we really would rather look at the slimmer girls, it's easier on the eye, no offense.

Hi dear Jessica, Firstly, I am a student from miles behind the ocean. Your work and actions are stunning. I have been watching 7-th Heaven for almost ages now. Can you believe it that it actually runs all the way in Estonia, almost at the other side of the world from the place you live? Well, it is pretty much unbelievable. I have seen technically all of your fabolous movies and my personal favourite is "The Illusionist". Don´t ask me why. The second is "Next". You sure are a extraordinary person. Like mr. Cage said to you in "Next" about beauty, tried to defy it. It was absolutely true, about you, to be more precise. You will always be one of my favourite actresses, I wish you luck! Sorry for my bad English, it isn´t my mothertongue (:

Hi Jessica! Love your smile and your work keeps getting better and better with every new release. You're great! This is probably one of strangest requests you've ever received from a stranger.. but here it goes! I really need your help.. I think You maybe able to help save my marriage. My wife I were married 1 year ago on the 17th of February at The Inn of the seventh Rey. I'm sure you know the place. Anyway.. She's been drifting over the last couple of months. Taking our marriage, our children(2) our family for granted. Not appreciating the life we all have together. We love her dearly and want her back. She's left our Malibu Lake home and decided to get her own place. The old saying you don't know what you've got till it's gone.. Well, trying to prevent the "gone". I'm certain it would back-fire if I were to be with, or show intrest towards another woman. But on the other hand.. If someone who were capable of having any man in America, were to simply ask her if she has moved on and asked permission to persue her man, she undoubtedly think much harder on the choices she is beginning to make. I Love my wife and family very much.. This may sound crazy but I'm certain it will work. I'm asking for 9 minutes of yur time to approach her in a Thousand Oaks location. And ask her if she is no longer in Love with her husband and if it would be o.k. to persue if in fact she is moving on. Maybe?? You can save this family. I'm certain. I can't wait for "Chuck and Larry" and I thought you and Edward Norton were wonderful together in "The Illusionist" it's one my favorite movies along with "Stealth"!! --Todd

Many entertainers sometimes think their work is less meaningful time to time. Many supermodels in Europe( Cate) also think their work is tedious and simple. Acting makes people's lives worthwhile living. When I saw Bruce Lee movie...it made me want to be like him and took martial art classes and it made me fit and stronger, mentally and physically. And so, when people see your movie and have a lot of fun and even want to dress like you ... is also a very meaningful place to be. An Australian champion horse rider said, in his bio, "I know when I ride horse something within me tells me that I can do this better than anyone". Not everyone can be Actor. See interview for Kirk Russel (Ophrah 200?) " if someone can not act in front of camera they are not made for it" It is a previllage- your talent- given to do a lot of good when there are opportunities to use that privilage to do a lot of GOOD-your MTDN and for your friends and family. Remember...some try but can not. Sometimes, it is not you choose the dream but the DREAM chooses YOU ( see Braveheart) I saw your illusionist in my ANU movie club and I would love to see your NEXT and CHUCK and LARRY.
