PathConnect Boldly Launches SND Engine to Public

January 23th, 2007

Los Angeles-- Monday, November 13, 2006-- Social Networking for the Ambitious Lifestyle got a little more ambitious today, as PathConnect.com rolled out a revolutionary new application.

The site has released its proprietary Social Network Distribution engine, allowing any member of this free community to advertise for free to their network of friends and contacts.

Members now have the ability to fill out customized text advertisements across more than a dozen categories to promote their products, goods, services, events and business.  This advertisement will then play free of charge to each member’s network of invited friends and contacts.

“We designed the architecture of our site to track not only who each member invites to join PathConnect, but who those people invite, and so on,” said CEO Ryan Blair.  The result is a distribution channel that allows a member’s ads to play down a chain of referrals that can grow infinitely.

“Everybody knows people… Now, we’ve made it easier than ever to exponentially expand your reach and expose your business,” Chief Sales Officer Nick Sarnicola added.

The concept of Social Networking is no longer a hidden corner of the Internet landscape and PathConnect has invested heavily to ensure they lead the industry in a new direction.

Despite the significant investment, Blair is cavalier when mentioning his plans with the application.  “We might just release it to the open source community.  I mean, why not?  It isn’t just about making waves; it’s what PathConnect is all about.  If you’ve done something cool, you can sit on it and be greedy, or share it with others so that they can have success too.  We’ll be happy to take a cut, of course,” Ryan said with a wry smile.

A shrewd businessman to the end, Blair knows that he has put in motion the application to change an industry. Blair is already in talks with several major brands to develop niche networks, including World Champion Skier Bode Miller’s SkiSpace, and a Personal Development community with Chicken Soup for the Soul author Mark Victor Hansen.
